Ron Sexsmith - Exit Strategy Of The Soul - Brandy Alexander

I am sure you have heard Feist sing this song on her album The Reminder, and if you haven’t click here. But, have you heard Ron Sexsmith sing it? The truth is I hadn’t until I was enlightened by one Mr. Stuart MacPhee. I actually like this version better partly because Ron Sexsmith is a Canadian artist who never gets the cred he deserves.

Another interesting thing about this song is that Ron and Feist actually wrote this together and he did not release it on his album (Exit Strategy Of The Soul) until 2008. Meanwhile, Feist released this song in 2007. Ron Sexsmith is a music artist’s artist. He deserves more… listen to his song.
