Subway’s Chate Graphic Designer.

I am not a big fast food eater, but ate Subway this weekend. No this is not a story about me eating Subway, as I am certain that you aren’t interested in that at all.

Although, what I did find shocking was the appalling quality of Subway’s in-store signage. More specifically, the images on their menu with very poorly added graphic enhancements. These pictures of sandwhich’s looked like they were finished in Microsoft paint… not photoshop or whatever else graphic designers use. No. They used paint.

Most people most likely don’t care about this stuff… but this was driving me nuts as I was ordering. My mind was boggled as to how they could allow such shotty images on their menu… See Above.

Who is the marketing manager that gave this their approval? Who was the graphic designed who sucked THAT MUCH to have absolutely no idea of what a shadow looks like? What did the franchise owner think when they saw the images? “Wow! I love how you made the shadow’s stand out so much more than a real shadow ever would! this is great! It looks like it was drawn by my 5 year old son… I love my 5 year old son.. so this must be good!” NO. So many questions… so few answers.
